Hip-hop dancing is a fusion dancing genre with influences from older road dance designs developed in the 1970s. Breaking was produced in The Bronx, New York City in the very early 1970s. In its earliest type, it started as elaborations on James Brown's "Good Foot" dance which debuted in 1972.
